Taylor was back to her usual routine. She went downstairs to school for the first time since going down to ICU. She enjoyed her school lesson and then on bike later. Due to the fact that she has not been on the bike in a while she was only able to sustain for about 15 minutes which was expected by the physical therapist. She is enjoying the pace of being down on the 3rd floor and is enjoying her old nurses. She has become very homesick and asks to go home to Chico daily. Doctors are hopeful to have her going home around the first of May currently.

Hello Taylor,

I am so glad to hear that you will be coming home soon! You have been such a trooper, staying so strong though all of this. I am so very proud of you, honny. It is going to feel sooooo good to be home again!

Tristan and Chasey had a lot of fun at the concert on Saturday. Their favorite was the bounce house and fishing for ducks. Tristan was hesitant about the face painting at first. But after watching Chasey he decided on a caterpillar which was painted on his arm, and a bear paw tatoo on his hand. Chasey had a heart painted on her face. Pretty soon you will be out of the hospital and able to enjoy these fun activities, including riding your horse!

Keep up the good work, Taylor!

Lots of Love,
Auntie Shelley :)

Hello Taylor,

We are very glad to hear that you had such a good day and were able to get back on the bike again. I'm sure you were very excited to be able to attend school once again. Wow, May and then you'll be on your way home, that's great!! We can't imagine how important that is to you, you've been gone for a very long time. Remember to keep working hard and May will be here before you know it. Someone has a birthday coming up really soon. We hear she's a great little girl with a wonderful attitude, and a huge heart. We wonder who that is ???? Sweet dreams, lots of love, hugs, kisses, and prayers.

Love -
