Taylor woke up this morning to the task of getting into her chair and breathing on the phrenic pacer for 30 minutes. She did great on the pacer and even allowed for the tubes to be taken off and have a valve put on her trach to allow her to talk even easier. She did great. Later in the afternoon she got back into her chair and went down to the playroom on the 2nd floor to watch a puppet show.

Hello Taylor-

We are so very proud of you, you continue to amaze us with all the strength and courage that you have. We are so glad to hear that you were able to be on the pacer for thirty minutes and had a valve placed for you to talk even easier. We are so proud of you and I only wish that I had half the strength and courage that you have at the age of 5. Your awesome Taylor!! So, you were able to see a puppet show today, how was it. I'm sure you enjoyed going down to the playroom. Keep up the great work and before too long all this will be behind you. Sweet dreams, lots of love, hugs, kisses, and prayers.

Love-

Hi Taylor,

I have never met you in person, but I have seen you at ropings on your wonderful pony. I heard you had a great day today seeing the puppet show. I love puppets. They look so funny when they try to run. I also love reading books. Do you know how to read? I bet you are really smart!
We are all praying for you to get better.

Hello Taylor,

I am sooo excited (gercited is what Tristan would say!) for you to talk and now breathe on the phrenic pacer. How independent you are getting to be. That must feel wonderful! I got my purple bracelet last week and I am always wearing it, so you are always on my mind. I am also going to make a cake for the speghetti feed tomorrow night. I was thinking of chocolate. Do you like chocolate cake? Chocolate cake and ice cream are always the best. We love you and will be back down there to see you soon.

Love,
Auntie Shelley
