Taylor slept in today. It was probably a combination of not sleeping well last night and the fact that she knows the doctor's come do her exercises in the morning and she was trying to sleep through that. She did not get to skip the exercises. For the first time since she was at Shriner's she got out of her room. She was in her stroller and got to go outside of her room in the main nurses area. She took a little nap in the afternoon and then played with the child life specialist and had more rehab with electrical stimulation of her muscles. She has been doing very well and trying very hard with her exercises. She is still on schedule to start using the phrenic pacer on Monday. Taylor wants to thank everyone for all of the emails and comments on her site. She has enjoyed reading them.

Hi Taylor, I am so impressed with your wonderful attitude. You have inspired me! I wrote you earlier and told you my son was selling the purple bracelets and my daughter's name is Tayler and she likes horses too. Well, I am also a teacher. I teach first and second grade students in Princeton. We are working on writing you letters and drawing you pictures and we will be finshed soon. I will probably send them to you next week. Keep up the great work!!

P.S. This is to your parents-You have a precious daughter. Thank you for sharing your story.

Hello Taylor-

I'm sure you needed to sleep in and have a little nap, you have been working so hard and they have kept you very busy. I know a nap every now and then is good everyone. I'm sure you were very excited to finally be able to get out and roam around a little farther than your room, good for you. I see you had another child life counselor visit, what did you get to do? Any more painting or bead work? I hope tomorrow is filled with lots of fun and exciting things. Keep working hard. Lots of love, hugs, kisses, & prayers.

Love-
Andy & Kelli Garcia- Colusa
