Taylor finally has her future move figured out. She will be transferred to Shriner's across the street tomorrow and await her phrenic pacer surgery on Monday of next week. The Philadelphia Shriner's hospital is sending a bike to allow Taylor to do the "activity based rehab" that is similar to the Christopher Reeves Center. Taylor and her family are excited to get this type of treatment so close to family and friends here in Northern California. Taylor's nurses are sad to lose Taylor but they are excited for her future. She has made many friendships with the nurses that have cared for her and many of the nurses have promised to make the trip across the street to visit Taylor. Taylor is excited for the move. She is looking forward to the kid friendly environment. Taylor has been adjusting to her new wheels and is getting more excited about her trips in the stroller. Her appetite has gotten better and continues to improve. She had a dinner of salad and tri tip tonight for her last dinner in the Pediatric ICU in.

Hello Taylor-

Yeah!! I am so excited to hear you are going to make a move across the street. I know that they will take great care of you and being close to your family and friends will be very helpful for you and your family. Wow, I guess your appitite is getting better salad and tri-tip. You go Girl!!!It's wonderful to hear that you are now excited about your trips in your stroller, I'm sure it feels good to get out of your room and roam around. Good luck with your move tomorrow and I know you'll make just as many friends there as you have at UC Davis Med Center. Can't wait to hear how tomorrow goes. Lots of Love, hugs, Kisses, & Prayers.

Love-

Howdy Taylor, We are so glad to hear you are going to cross the street today and go to the Shriners Childrens Hospital. We know many children who have been treated there. They all got excellent care there. I know you will too. I'm not surprised that you liked your tri-tip dinner last night. After all you are a cowgirl and tri-tip does come from cows. We hope to come see you saturday at your new place. I can hardly wait to see you there. Keep working as hard as you can for the new nurses and we'll see you soon?
How is Maddy doing? Do you get to see her a lot now? We miss not having her here but I'm sure you enjoy seeing her and I know she enjoys seeing you.
TTFN, Love you bunches,
Larry and Charlene

Hi Taylor,

It is exciting to hear that you are moving across the street today. Hopefully you can get your Grandma to hang the pictures on your celing again...I bet it was fun seeing her standing on your bed!

Tri-Tip and salad....that is one of my favorite dinners too, no wonder you were hungry!

We look forward to seeing you soon.
