Taylor has been in great moods lately. She has gotten her hair braided and is now getting dressed in her clothes each day. She is continuing to listen to the therapists and work towards getting better. Today she said that she felt people touching her arm on the forearm. This is a new sensation and Taylor is very proud that she can feel it. The doctors cautioned the family on getting to optimistic since the feeling sensation and movement are not related. However at this point the family is happy to see improvement of any kind and are very optimistic and proud of Taylor. She has had a lot of visitors that continue to stop by and Taylor and her family want to thank all who have visited, donated, and sent mail or email to send their best wishes. Everyones support is greatly appreciated by Taylor and her family.

Hello Taylor-

I am so glad to hear that you are able to feel people touching your arm. That is something to be very proud of. I'm sure you are more than ready for Christmas, in fact I bet that you are more prepared than I. Just remember you want to get a great night's sleep when Santa comes. I also see that you were able to have a visit from your brother yesterday, I'm sure he misses not having you around everyday, but he understands that you are getting better before you go home. Have you put in your request for any special cookies or dinner for Christmas? I would make sure that you let your dad and your nurses know what it is that you want since you are such a special little girl. How is it going with your chair? Did using your imagination make anything any easier? I hope your days continue to get better with everyday that passes. I'm sure you look very cute with your hair braided. Lots of Love, prayers and sweet dreams.

Hello Taylor-

I missed not hearing how your day was yesterday, however, I'm sure that you are very busy and excited about Christmas. I hope you took my advice and put in your order for cookies and your favorite meal for Christmas. We are hoping to get down and see you next week possibly on Tuesday, but we will keep you and your dad posted. Is your brother coming down to have Christmas with you? I hope so, I'm sure you will get very tired from opening all your gifts and a little brother can be a lot of help. Did you get in your chair yesterday? Just thought I'd say hello and I will chat with you later tonight. Hope today is great for you and your family. Lots of Love, hugs and Kisses. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Much Love!!

Good Morning Taylor-

Merry Christmas!!! I bet you are in a great mood today and I'm sure your room is full of goodies from Santa. Did you hear Santa's Reindeer on the roof last night? Sometimes if it's real quiet you can hear them. I hope that Santa left you everything you were asking for and more!!! I know you have been a great little girl. We hope you have a great day and a very Merry Christmas. Oh yeah- We saw Santa last night and he asked for directions to UC Davis Medical Center, his Sleigh looked very full. Have a wonderful day!! Lots of love, hugs, & Kisses.

Merry Christmas & Lots of Love-
